Got to help with General Conference!

I got to be on the ASL support team again this year for General Conference!

Nearly every conference for the last few years I've had such a wonderful time being behind-the-scenes support for the Deaf interpreter team (made up mainly of CDIs).

After the Saturday afternoon session I walked out of the Conference Center and got all choked up. I never would have dreamed I'd be able to take part in interpreting conference! I absolutely LOVE the Spirit on the set, seeing other interpreters from around the world (94 languages total are translated!), and just learning how the system works to have Deaf interpreters (not hearing ASL interpreters) interpret conference!
