After working in the quarry, schooling during Covid, determination in his studies and supporting Rachael, Alfred has graduated in Tanzania!!!

Hello Destiny,

The struggle is now over. I made it. Because of your hard work. May God Bless You. God Bless the Deaf Dream .

My task now, to achieve my goals and my promise to the Deaf Dream.

Please continue sponsoring deaf community. We are resourceful to community too.

I very much thank Oryem for buying me gift of one document Frame and one photo frame for my Certificate and Photo. It is so sweet! Oryem also design for me Photos to put on frame for memory of him and Deaf Dream.

This has reduced cost for printing from photographer at graduation.

Please send my appreciations to our sponsors.

Thank you Oryem. Also for sending photos of me and you in previous email. Thank you for your time at school and at our home.

Am sorry . Rachael didn't graduated.

Director of studies put her name on graduation list of June

Thank you all. Thank you for supporting my education.

I love you so much.

Alfred.

Oryem was able to travel to Tanzania and represent The Deaf Dream at Alfred and Rachael's graduation! We are SO grateful for his unending support of these students.

Dear Destiny,

I hope you have been well. I travelled to Tanzania and came back on 15 Jan.

The graduation went well, except for Rachael who never graduated. This wasn't because she didn't qualify for it, but because no one from her family was there to sign her Graduation clearance form by 5 January.  This is a form that every department from the school has to sign, and their parents/Guardians acknowledge it, for a student to graduate.

Her Mother was still under medical supervision, after a long illness.

I'm currently on medication. I developed flu on my way back, I was put on isolation for 24hrs on arrival, tested for COVID-19, but it turned out negative.

Rachael will likely graduate in June this year. Although, she is expected to pick her Transcript and Certificate next week.

Also, I had to go to Alfred's Home village as he requested. It was expensive to hire a cab. I used public transport instead.

They were so excited to see me. I wish I could have spent more time with them but time couldn't allow me.

I also had time to visit the quarry where Alfred's mother works. That's the very place where Alfred used to work, before joining and during his course. He has been accepted to work in a Furniture Mart on probation, for three months. When all goes well, he will then sign his contract and become a full staff.

He intends to start his project, once he gets enough money.

Alfred's mother asked me to send to you her sincere greetings and appreciations towards your support to her son.

Thank you,

Kind regards!!!

Oryem paid for Alfred's graduation photo to be printed and placed in a frame for his mother along with his diploma. Such a perfect gift!
