1. What is your dream?
|
In general, my dream is to help promote the cause of Deaf people worldwide. Specifically, making the Ghanaian Sign Language recognized as the language of the Deaf is the dream, which I am currently trying to achive for the benefit of all.

2. How does your dream improve your Deaf community?
|
It would promote deaf rights,specifically with regards to the right to language thus facilitating the communication needs of Deaf people in every sphere of life.

3. What have you done in the past to improve your Deaf community?
|
I did assist Deaf people by disseminating information which they are not aware of. I also help some of the to gain access to support from the government fund which they were not familiar with. I gave advices, and guidance to those who came to me for help.

4. What can you tell us about education in your country? Do Deaf go to universities? How much is tuition? Etc.
|
Based on my experience from the High School level, I must say they education system does not match the needs of Deaf people. It is mainly theoretically based. Deaf people leave school not without practical skills needed for the job market. The curriculum needs reformation so that it could meet Deaf needs.
