1. What is your dream?

My dream is to adopt deaf children since we cannot have our own children. There are so many deaf children out there that needs a parents who understand their culture and language.

2. How does your dream improve your Deaf community?

Deaf children can have full access to language and culture. They will become wonderful citizens in the deaf and hearing community. The community will benefit the diversity a deaf person has to offer.

3. What have you done in the past to improve your Deaf community?

I have volunteered for many organizations and my job allows me to be on committees. I have volunteered with Miss Deaf Sacramento, Miss Deaf Utah Ambassadorship Pageant, SPLORE-outdoor activities for people who are Deaf but also serves different population, National Registry for Interpreters for Certified Deaf Interpreters and Utah Association for the Deaf. I have influence many people to reach their dreams. For example, a deaf and blind man wanted to do rock climbing and hike to donuts falls. I became his guide and we achieve it. It is amazing feeling.

4. What more about you?

I have received K-12 and higher education. I have masters degree in Education with emphasis in Student Affairs.
