The Deaf Dream

1. What is your dream?

My dream is to be a journalist for a major newspaper or magazine agency and to be a famous book author and writer. I love to write all kinds of creative stories and I'm working on publishing my very first novel. Hopefully it will be one of many novels that I want to write and publish over my career. I have a blog where I publish articles on various topics and it is updated regularly three days a week. 2. How does your dream improve your Deaf community?

Being able to be a well-known author and journalist would help to enable the world to see more of what deaf people are capable of doing. In this case, deaf people can be good writers. I want the world to understand that not only can deaf people be able to do anything, they can also excel at it.

3. What have you done in the past to improve your Deaf community?

My blog reaches thousands of people around the world, and it helps they learn more about what deaf people can become. I also work for my university's newspaper where I write weekly columns for them, titled "Life According to a Deaf Student".
